Special Trains to Run to Velankanni for Festival
There will be 8 sleeper class coaches, 11 second class coaches and 2 luggage cum brake vans/ divyangjan-friendly Amrit Bharat coaches.
Tiruchy: The Tiruchirapalli Division of the Southern Railway will operate special trains between Tambaram and Velankanni to clear extra rush during the ensuing Velankanni Festival.
Train No. 06037 Tambaram-Velankanni weekly express special will leave Tambaram at 11.50 pm on August 24, 31 and September 7 and reach Velankanni at 7.45 am the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 06038 will leave Velankanni at 12.45 am on August 26, and September 2 and 9 and reach Tambaram at 7.30 am the next day.
There will be 8 sleeper class coaches, 11 second class coaches and 2 luggage cum brake vans/ divyangjan-friendly Amrit Bharat coaches.
The trains will stop at Chengalpet, Villupuram, Cuddalore Port, Chidambaram, Mayiladuthurai, Karaikal, Nagore and Nagapattinam.
