Snake’s Head Stuck in Cold Drink Can, Saved

Chennai: The head of a 7-feet-long oriental rat snake was stuck inside an empty cooldrinks can on a street at Irumbuliyur. The fire service personnel came to the spot, rescued the snake and released it inside a forest area after treating its injuries.

The snake was struggling after encountering the ordeal on Wednesday evening. On Thursday morning, the residents found the snake with its head in the can. After being informed by people, the fire service personnel came and took the snake in a container to the Tambaram fire service station, where they cut the can and rescued it. The fire brigade applied medicine on injuries on its head and released it in a forest.
