Actor-director Raghava Lawrence has taken an unusual approach to his potential political entry, placing the decision in the hands of the public.
In a post on X, Lawrence wrote, “Do your duty sincerely, without expecting anything in return,” before urging people to watch his video and share their advice in the comments. He stated that his entry into politics would depend entirely on the response he receives.
“If you say ‘No,’ I will not enter politics and will continue my selfless service to society. But if you say ‘Yes,’ I am ready to enter politics,” he said.
Lawrence also assured that he would soon reveal when and with whom he plans to begin his political journey, seeking the blessings and support of the public.
The actor’s statement has sparked widespread discussion, as he becomes one of the few public figures to openly seek a direct mandate from people before making a political move.
