Moon Viewing Conducted at Tamil Nadu’s Ariyalur Fossil Museum

Ariyalur: The district administration organised a special viewing of the moon and astronomical events through a telescope at the Ariyalur Fossil Museum.

The Thanjavur Astronomy and Science Society provided the telescope for the event on Friday night, from 7 PM to 9 PM, at the museum in Varanavasi near Ariyalur.

The oragnisers said they were aiming to create an interest in astronomy and science among the general public and children.

District Collector N. Mirunalini, Ariyalur RDO Premi, and chief educational officer Renugopal participated.
