Leopard Creates Flutter at Park Near Temple in Erode District

Erode: Sending shockwaves among public and tourists, a leopard on Sunday walked into the park area near the Bannari Mariamman Temple, adjacent to the forest area under the Sathyamangalam Tiger Reserve in Erode district. The leopard returned to the forest after roaming around the park for a while.

The forest department personnel reached the scene and conducted an investigation. The department has advised the devotees visiting the Bannari Amman temple not to enter the nearby forest area.
