IIT-M Pravartak, SWAYAM Plus Launch Multi-Cloud Security Program
Delivered through live online sessions, the course will also include an immersive experience at the IIT-M campus.
Chennai: Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT-M) Pravartak Technologies Foundation and SWAYAM Plus, an initiative of the Union Ministry of Education, have launched a multi-cloud foundation with security programme to equip students and professionals with practical skills in leading cloud computing platforms.
The programme will provide training in Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), along with dedicated modules on cloud security. Delivered through live online sessions, the course will also include an immersive experience at the IIT-M campus.
The first batch will begin on September 10 with the application deadline set for September 9. The programme is open to students, graduates, working professionals and aspiring technology professionals. The top 5 per cent of performers will receive placement support.
Highlighting the importance of cloud security training, IIT- M Director Prof. V. Kamakoti said organisations increasingly needed professionals who understood not only how to build applications on the cloud but also how to secure them.
The programme combines conceptual learning with hands-on application, helping learners understand how common cloud concepts operate across different cloud ecosystems.
