GWC Data.AI To Create 1,000 AI Jobs In Tamil Nadu
Data and AI solutions provider to recruit professionals and build a Claude-certified talent pipeline across tier-2 and tier-3 cities

Tamil Nadu-based data and artificial intelligence solutions provider GWC Data.AI has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Tamil Nadu government to recruit more than 1,000 AI and data professionals in the state over the next 12 months.
The MoU was exchanged in the presence of Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay at the Vetri Tamilnadu Investment Conclave 2026 in Chennai.
The proposed recruitment will cover AI engineering, data engineering, agentic AI development and enterprise delivery. The jobs will be created across the company’s offices in Hosur, Dharmapuri, Salem and Tirupattur, with a focus on expanding technology employment opportunities in tier-2 and tier-3 cities.
GWC Data.AI, an official Anthropic Claude Preferred Partner, will also collaborate with the skilling wing of Guidance Tamil Nadu to conduct campus programmes and structured training in agentic AI. The initiative is aimed at creating a Claude-certified talent pipeline within the state.
Naveen Kumar, founder and CEO, GWC Data.AI, said the partnership was aimed not only at creating jobs but also at developing world-class AI talent in smaller cities and equipping local youth with advanced technology skills.
He said the initiative would demonstrate Tamil Nadu’s potential to emerge as a global benchmark for AI innovation while making the technology sector more inclusive.
