Gold Ring Scheme: Thanjavur Collector Says Moms Will be Informed by Docs
Gold rings will be presented at the Rajah Mirasudhar government hospital at Thanjavur, Pattukottai and Kumbakonam
Thanjavur: Presentation of 1-gram gold ring, under the ‘Thaimaman Thanga Mothiram’ scheme will be inaugurated on September 28 in Thanjavur district, according to a press release issued by Thanjavur Collector R. Revathi here on Wednesday.
The Collector said children born in government hospitals from June 22 were eligible to get the ring. Mothers of the children will be informed by the doctors of primary health centres about the place and time of distribution of the gold ring.
Gold rings will be presented at the Rajah Mirasudhar government hospital at Thanjavur and government hospitals at Pattukottai and Kumbakonam.
Parents should produce any one of the following six documents i.e., Aadhaar card, voter identity card, ration card. labour welfare board identity card, residence proof or postal proof.
