Ganja-High Youths Create Havoc on Tamil Nadu Highway

Locals who noticed the dangerous driving chased the vehicle and managed to corner it. However, the two occupants abandoned the car and fled from the spot.

Chennai: Two youths allegedly drove a car under the influence of ganja and caused a series of accidents on the Salem–Chennai National Highway in Tamil Nadu.

According to reports, the car first rammed into another vehicle. Despite one of its tyres coming off, the driver did not stop and continued speeding for several kilometres. The car kept moving with its rim scraping the road, sending out sparks.

Locals who noticed the dangerous driving chased the vehicle and managed to corner it. However, the two occupants abandoned the car and fled from the spot.

Police rushed to the scene after receiving information and launched a search operation. The accused, identified as Deepak Guru and Thirumurugan, were later arrested. A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway.
