Four of Marriage Party Killed in Road Accident Near Perambalur

Perambalur: Four persons, including a woman, were killed and three others injured when their car rear-ended a private bus at Thuraimangalam near Perambalur on the Tiruchy-Chennai National Highway in the wee hours of Friday. A group was traveling in the car after attending a wedding.

Khaja alias Kaleeswaran of Orivayal and Prabhakaran of Rasikulam died on the spot. Karthi succumbed to his injuries at government hospital, Perambalur, while his wife Surya died on the way to Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Government Hospital, Tiruchy.

Car driver Kannadasan, John Kennedy and Saranya were admitted to government hospital, Perambalur.

Perambalur town police registered a case and are investigating.
