Perambalur: The officials of the forest department in Perambalur district are holding inquiries with authorities including the principal of the Government Polytechnic College at Keelakkanavai village after complaints of monkey catchers, hired by the college, torturing the primates a few days ago.
The seizure and torture of the monkeys have gone viral on the social media.
