CM Vijay Opens Renovated MLA Office In Perambur

Marking the distribution of 73,000 digital ration cards, Vijay handed over 50 cards to families from his Perambur constituency and then visited the e-vehicle workshop of the Chennai Metropolitan bus service in Vyasarpadi.

Chennai: In his maiden thanks-giving visit to the Perambur Assembly constituency after the elections, Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay inaugurated the renovated MLA office, launched a e-seva centre by helping out the members of the public who had come over there on work, discussed the developmental plans for the constituency with officials, distributed digital family cards to 50 families, distributed ration items to the people and supervised the working of a ration shop.

Driving into the constituency in his campaign van wearing a purple colour shirt, the Chief Minister walked through the waiting sea of humanity for a distance, greeting and thanking the people who had voted for him in the Assembly elections, handing over the MLA seat to him.

At the e-seva centre located at the MLA office on Sharma Nagar First Main Road in Vyasarpadi, he handed over certificates to five persons who had come to avail of the service The centre offers 275 services of various government departments.

As MLA of Perambur – he has given up Trichy East seat that also returned him to the Assembly along with Perambur –he handed over the recommendation letter for undertaking developmental work worth Rs 3 core under the MLA Constituency Development Fund to the Chennai Corporation Commissioner.
