Chennai Man Held For Secretly Filming and Posting Women in Public Places

Chennai: A 28-year-old man was arrested for taking photos and videos of women in public places and posting them on social media at T.P. Chathiram in the city.

The husband of a 33-year-old woman found her photos and videos washing clothes and cooking vessels outside her house on social media. He showed her the videos and a complaint was given to the police. The police who investigated the case questioned Bharath, living in Shenoy Nagar and examined his mobile phone.

Many photos of women in public places were found in his mobile and he had posted them on social media. He was was arrested under the IT Act, Tamil Nadu Prevention of Harassment of Women Act and BNS Act.
