Chennai: AR Rahman’s Son Ameen Sustains Minor Injuries in Car Accident
Reports said Ameen and his friend were heading from Koyambedu to Guindy when the accident occurred near the Olympia Tech Park signal at around 3:30 am.
Chennai: Music composer AR Rahman’s son Ameen sustained minor injuries after the Porsche car in which he was travelling was hit by a cab (Wagon R) in Chennai in the early hours of Monday.
Reports said Ameen and his friend were heading from Koyambedu to Guindy when the accident occurred near the Olympia Tech Park signal at around 3:30 am.
Ameen and his friend were reportedly injured in the accident. Both were taken to Kauvery Hospital following the incident but were discharged shortly after receiving medical attention.
The injured passenger in the cab was taken to Kalaignar Centenary Super Speciality Hospital for treatment and was also discharged after receiving medical attention.
Both vehicles were damaged in the collision. The Adyar Traffic Police seized the vehicles, and a case has been registered. Investigation is underway to ascertain the circumstances that led to the accident.
