Cyclone Fengal: Chennai Airport Operations Suspended till 7 pm

Chennai: A buoy washes ashore due to rough sea conditions amidst a warning issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) that a deep depression over the southwest Bay of Bengal is likely to intensify into Cyclone 'Fengal' and move towards Tamil Nadu, at Marina beach in Chennai, Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2024.
Chennai: In light of Cyclonic Storm Fengal and the forecasted high crosswinds, as predicted by IMD, Chennai Airport operations will be suspended from 12.30 pm to 7 pm today following safety concerns raised by stakeholder airlines.
