Photos Misused On Social media Kerala Minister Faces Harassment
The minister said the incident took place in a school during a function held on July 6.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala Minister for Women and Child Development, Bindu Krishna, on Tuesday revealed a disturbing incident where a man took pictures of her body during a public function and later posted them on social media.
"If this is the situation for a minister, you can imagine what ordinary women must be going through," she said.
The minister said the incident took place in a school during a function held on July 6.
"While I was speaking at the function, a man in the audience was seen taking my photos. People, mainly Congress workers standing behind him, noticed he was zooming in on my body instead of my face. They confronted him, and he stopped taking pictures. However, I was shocked to later find those same photos on his social media account, showing only my body and not my face," she added.
Bindu Krishna said she was deeply shocked by the incident. The man was made to delete the photos, but the whole episode left her traumatised as screenshots taken by some people kept appearing on social media. "I was shocked to see how perverted people operate," the minister said, adding that she recalled the incident to raise awareness about such behaviour in public places.
The minister did not reveal the name of the person who posted her photos, but identified him as a staff member of the same school where the function took place.
She said she had not yet approached the police but was considering legal action to send a strong message to society.
