Vehicle Carrying Dharmasthala SIT Officials Overturns Near Charmadi
The accident occurred in the afternoon when the Innova vehicle carrying the officials overturned on the National Highway near Charmadi.
Mangaluru: A government vehicle carrying officials of the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the Dharmasthala alleged secret burial case overturned near Charmadi Ghat on Tuesday while the team was on its way to Chikkamagaluru.
According to sources, the team from the Belthangady SIT, including Superintendent of Police CA Simon, Inspector Kusumadhar and police personnel Manjunath, was travelling to Chikkamagaluru to meet Superintendent of Police Jitendra Kumar Dayama, the investigation officer in the case.

Sources said all the four including the driver escaped without any major injury, though the vehicle sustained damage.
