Three People From AP Killed in Road Accident In Karnataka
Police said the force of the crash was so intense that the engine of the van was ripped out of the vehicle.

Tumakuru: Three people from Andhra Pradesh were killed when a car crashed into a van near the Chitradurga–Tumakuru district border on Thursday, police said. According to police, the accident occurred when the victims were returning to Adoni after a holiday trip to Mysuru.
They said an SUV collided with a van that allegedly took a sudden turn without giving any signal. The impact of the collision was so severe that the SUV overturned into a roadside ditch. Three occupants of the Innova died on the spot, police said.
In this accident, two children aged 11 and seven were injured. They were given first aid at the Tumakuru District Hospital and later shifted to Bengaluru for advanced treatment, they said. Police said the force of the crash was so intense that the engine of the van was ripped out of the vehicle. The Omni driver sustained minor injuries and is undergoing treatment.
Huliyar Police rushed to the spot and, with the help of residents, shifted the injured to the hospital. A case has been registered at Huliyar Police Station, and further investigation is underway.
