Three Killed in Bus-Bike Collision Near Gokak

Belagavi:Three persons, including a four-year-old girl, were killed in a head-on collision between a Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus and a motorcycle on the Konnur–Maradimath road in Gokak taluk on Thursday afternoon.
The deceased have been identified as Saif Basheer Mulla (29), a resident of Konnur in Gokak taluk, his four-year-old daughter Sija, and Imtiyaz Badagaon (35). Another person, identified as Jihan Shah Rukh Kudachikar, sustained injuries in the accident and was admitted to a private hospital for treatment.
According to preliminary reports, Saif had gone to the school to pick up his daughter and was returning to Konnur when the motorcycle collided head-on with the KSRTC bus, which was travelling towards Gokak town after leaving the Hidkal reservoir area.
