Sonu Nigam Loses His Cool As Audience Demand Kannada Songs At Bengaluru concert
The national award-winning singer paused the concert midway to confront the heckler and said, "You will not decide for me."

BENGALURU: In a viral video doing the rounds on social media, Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam is seen losing his cool on stage during a college concert in Bengaluru after being repeatedly urged by the audience to sing in Kannada. The time and date of the event are not clear.
The national award-winning singer paused the concert midway to confront the heckler and said, "You will not decide for me."
Sonu Nigam attributed the terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, to (religious) fanaticism, comparing it to the language fanaticism displayed at the concert by those shouting for Kannada songs.
“I love Kannadigas and I love you guys,” stated the singer in the video clip, which went viral on social networking sites on Friday. Sonu Nigam stated that some of his best songs have come in Kannada, though he has sung songs in all languages. “You have to allow me to do the show, my way,” he added.
“I have devised a beautiful show for you,” he said, pointing towards the section of the audience from where he heard the demand for Kannada songs. Sonu Nigam added, “I did not like it. It was so rude. Kannada… Kannada…”
