Siddaramaiah Skips Session Proceedings Due to Ill Health

He stayed at the Circuit House, where several leaders cutting across party lines visited to enquire about his health following news of his indisposition

Belagavi: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah was unable to take part in the proceedings of the winter session or attend any official programmes on Wednesday due to stomach-related health issues.

He stayed at the Circuit House, where several leaders cutting across party lines visited to enquire about his health following news of his indisposition.

Minister Byrathi Suresh said there was no cause for concern regarding Siddaramaiah’s health.

The Chief Minister’s son and MLC, Dr Yathindra Siddaramaiah, also visited the Circuit House and enquired about his father’s condition. JD(S) MLA GT Devegowda also spoke to Siddaramaiah.

BJP leader and former minister Ramesh Jarkiholi visited the Circuit House and enquired about the Chief Minister’s health. Clarifying his visit, Jarkiholi said it was purely a courtesy call.

“I just came to enquire about his health. There was no political discussion. The Chief Minister does not need to be given courage he is strong enough to give courage to us,” he said.
