Shivakumar Would Serve As CM In Two-Terms, Says Astrologer
Dwarakanath said he knew Shivakumar for about 40 years and had predicted that one-day he would be the Chief Minister boy going to stars in his horoscope

BENGALURU: Astrologer and spiritual guru Bellur Dwarakanath on Friday claimed D.K. Shivakumar, tipped to become Chief Minister, would serve as Chief Minister for two-terms and also would be the longest serving Chief Minister of Karnataka. Currently, Siddaramaiah who resigned as Chief Minister on Thursday holds the record of longest serving CM of Karnataka for over 8 years in two-terms.
Dwarakanath said he knew Shivakumar for about 40 years and had predicted that one-day he would be the Chief Minister boy going to stars in his horoscope. “Things should have happened a year back for Shivakumar but it happened eventually,” said the astrologer and stated to Shivakumar that “Things would turn in his favour between May-June.”
“Shivakumar is a perfect example of showing that God will not deny anyone of his share (of luck). God will definitely give at an appropriate time,” he said pointing at Lord Subramanya who he worships fervently and derives power from the deity. Having come close to becoming the Chief Minister, Dwarakanath said “What he wanted, he got” and stated “He is happy so too I’m.”
When Shivakumar was in New Delhi to meet central leaders on Tuesday, Dwarakanath said “Without consulting me, he won’t do anything. He calls me up at least 3 days a week. I too reciprocate.”
“I’m very fond of him,” said the astrologer and stated “I treat him as my son.” Dwarakanath said “Shivakumar is a kind hearted person though his appearance would give a different impression that he is arrogant in nature.”
Dwarakanath recalled his prediction came true to late Chief Minister Devaraj Urs who was denied ticket to contest way back in 1969. “I asked Devaraj Urs to wait (patiently) for 3 years and that he would return to power.”
Even so, he said, late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi consulted him after losing power and stated “I took Indira Gandhi to temples in Dharmasthala, Chamundi Hills among others.”
