Pharma Student Found Murdered Behind Mall in Bengaluru
Police suspect the Alleged murder of Yamini Priya to be an act of a jilted lover
BENGALURU: A pharma student identified as Yamini Priya was found dead behind a shopping mall in Malleshwaram of Bengaluru city on Thursday and the assailant had slit her throat leading to her death. The body of the girl was traced near railway tracks behind the shopping mall.
Police suspect the alleged murder of Yamini Priya to be an act of a jilted lover. Vignesh, said to be the jilted lover and search is on to trace her.
Priya left home at around 7 am on Thursday to appear for examination and returning home, she is said to have encountered Vignesh who stalked her on a two-wheeler.
It is suspected Vignesh is said to have taken the drastic step to kill Priya after she reportedly turned down his love proposal. Having stalked her, Vignesh is said to have slit her throat and fled from the spot. Srirampura police rushed to the police and are investigating.
