Mangaluru: The Airports Council International (ACI) has awarded Level 4 accreditation in Airport Customer Experience to Mangaluru International Airport. The accreditation, issued on July 16 and valid for one year, marks an upgrade from Level 3 accreditation that the airport secured in February 2024.

The Level 4 recognition reflects robust customer-centric practices that form the foundation for progressing to Level 5—the highest global benchmark in passenger experience.

“This Level 4 accreditation from ACI is a testament to the dedication of our entire team and our unwavering focus on providing a seamless, comfortable and memorable journey for every traveller. Mangaluru International Airport is proud to serve the people of this coastal city and contribute to its reputation as a modern and evolving aviation hub,” an airport spokesperson said.

Over the past year, Mangaluru Airport has rolled out several initiatives aimed at improving travel comfort and operational efficiency through technology and passenger engagement. Key measures include the introduction of the Aviio app for airport stakeholders, launch of Digi Yatra, deployment of smart cleaning robots, AI-based surveillance for safety and monitoring, the Adani OneApp to unify services, free Wi-Fi kiosks and upgraded flight information display systems.
