Man Uploads Video Before Taking Drastic Step Of Ending His Life Near Bengaluru
Praveen Gowda in the uploaded video alleged he went for negotiations through Bharatiya Janata Party leader Muniraju Gowda and Srinivas Babu, husband of a BJP councilor, to settle his financial issues.
BENGALURU: A 35-year-old person identified as Praveen Gowda allegedly committed suicide by hanging to a tree near a school in Anekal near Bengaluru city on Friday and uploaded his recorded video on a social netwroking site explaining the reasons behind his death hours before he took the drastic step to end his life. He uploaded a video on a social networking site where he held four persons responsible for him taking the drastic step.
In the video uploaded by the deceased, he explained in detail the reasons that led to his alleged suicide and how he was tortured by his fellows-Kiran Gowda, Harish, Bhaskar Narayanappa, Madhu Gowda and Saravanna. The deceased alleged he was tortured by accused persons over financial issues.
In a recorded video of about 14.47 seconds, Praveen Gowda appealed to the police to conduct a detailed investigation into death and asked police officials “not to spare Kiran Gowda” under any circumstances. Praveen Gowda alleged Kiran Gowda used to harass women and all his activities would have passed on him and Praveen stated he could not face the accused persons owing to their political clout.

But, a group of about 20-members came to the villa reportedly belonging to BJP leader Muniraju Gowda where he was beaten black and blue. Praveen Gowda alleged he was beaten for about two-hours in intervals. Praveen Gowda demanded “justice” from the police. Anekal police have registered a case.
