Mahesh Babu To Inaugurate AMB Theatre In Bengaluru?
AMB Cinemas has plans to expand into Karnataka with plans to set up nine new theatres.

Superstar Mahesh Babu, who has been steadily expanding his brand equity by investing in the exhibition business, is reportedly set to make a major move into Karnataka. The actor is coming up with a swanky AMB Cinemas property in Bengaluru, marking the popular Hyderabad-based theatre brand’s expansion into the city.
According to sources, Mahesh Babu is pleased with the growth of his theatre chain and is likely to spare a day to inaugurate the Bengaluru theatre on January 11. While the owners are currently awaiting a few final permissions from the Karnataka government, plans are underway for a soft launch on January 4, followed by a star-studded grand opening. “Mahesh Babu is excited to be part of the celebrations and will make the event a grand gala,” the source adds, noting the strong fan base the actor enjoys in Karnataka.
AMB Cinemas is a well-known premium brand in Hyderabad and is now expanding into Karnataka with plans to set up nine new theatres. This includes a redesigned Kapali Theatre, which will be equipped with Dolby Vision—said to be the first of its kind in the state. “Bengaluru is a major destination for cinema lovers who prefer an elegant and swanky movie-watching experience. Karnataka has strong competition, but every business comes with challenges, and we must overcome them,” the source points out.
Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu is currently celebrating the New Year with his family on vacation. In a video that has gone viral, the actor is seen enjoying time with his wife Namrata and children Sitara and Gautam. Dressed in a blue T-shirt, brown jacket, jeans, sunglasses, and his trademark cap, Mahesh keeps it casual. Sitara appears to be twinning with her father in a white T-shirt, cap, and sunglasses, while Gautam and Namrata are also seen smiling as the family enjoys their getaway.
On the work front, Mahesh Babu is set to play a divine role as Lord Ram for the first time in his career. The film, being shot in Varanasi under the direction of SS Rajamouli, is expected to cater to a global audience and marks one of the most ambitious projects of the superstar’s career
