Karnataka: Villagers to Get 208 More Services at Bapuji Seva Kendras
Minister Priyank Kharge said that these 208 new services will be added to the 81 already available at these centres, eliminating the need for villagers to travel to towns and cities for most government-related work

Kalaburagi: Villagers in Karnataka will soon be able to access 208 additional government services at Bapuji Seva Kendras in their gram panchayats.
IT/BT and Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister Priyank Kharge said that these 208 new services will be added to the 81 already available at these centres, eliminating the need for villagers to travel to towns and cities for most government-related work.
The new services, to be delivered through the Seva Sindhu portal at the Seva Kendras, are part of the 2024–25 Budget plan to bring all online services under one roof in villages. An agreement has been signed with the Directorate of Electronic Delivery of Citizen Services (EDCS) to implement the expansion.
“Currently, more than 800 services from 46 departments are on the Seva Sindhu portal. Integrating them with Bapuji Seva Kendras will make it easier for people in rural areas,” Kharge said.
At present, more than 800 services on the Seva Sindhu portal are available at Grama One, Bengaluru One, and Karnataka One centres. With the expansion, gram panchayats will emerge as one-stop centres for key citizen services, the minister added.
