Juvenile Detained By Police Over Video Recording Of Women In Theatre Washroom

BENGALURU: A juvenile has been detained by Madiwala police of Bengaluru city on charge of filming women when they were in the washroom of a theatre. Police have seized the mobile phone used by the juvenile and investigations are on.
On Sunday at around 9.30 pm, some women surrounded a juvenile at a theatre under Madiwala police station limits and someone alerted the police control room over disturbances at the theatre. The police reached the spot and came across the allegations of secret video recording by the juvenile on his mobile phone.
The police rescued the juvenile from the women surrounding him and detained him. Along with the juvenile, police also took another suspect into their custody. Police are on lookout for another suspect involved in the incident.
Police calmed the agitating women and sent them home before receiving a complaint from them over the filming incident. Police questioned the theatre personnel over the incident. Madiwala police continue their investigation.
