Fire Reported At Janardhan Reddy’s Model House In Ballari

Janardhan Reddy was in Bengaluru on Friday to attend the special Assembly session. According to his close aides, he decided to rush to Ballari immediately after being informed of the incident.

Ballari: A fire was reported at the model house owned by Gangavathi MLA and former minister G Janardhan Reddy at Smt Rukminamma Changareddy Layout in Ballari on Friday.

Janardhan Reddy was in Bengaluru on Friday to attend the special Assembly session. According to his close aides, he decided to rush to Ballari immediately after being informed of the incident. He also spoke to the Ballari Superintendent of Police and sought details about the fire.

Senior police officials rushed to the spot soon after receiving information, while fire tenders were pressed into service to douse the flames. The extent of damage caused to the property is yet to be ascertained.

Police said the cause of the fire is being investigated, and further action would be taken based on the complaint to be filed. A clearer picture is expected to emerge once Janardhan Reddy arrives and lodges a formal complaint.

The layout is jointly associated with B Sriramulu and Janardhan Reddy.

It may be recalled that Ballari was in the news recently after supporters of BJP MLA Janardhan Reddy and Congress MLA Bharath Reddy clashed over a banner issue on January 1. The clash escalated into firing, resulting in the death of one person.
