The survey was to be conducted after some farmers of Mandalahalli Doddi gave their consent to sacrifice their lands for the project.
But, a section of farmers in Bidadi and Harohalli have expressed opposition for the project and refused to part with their lands stating the lands to be fertile. Farmers state that they are happy with their earning through growing coconut, vegetables and doing animal husbandry activities. Chief Minister D.K.
