Externment Order Issued Against Man Involved In Cricket Betting Cases
The externment order was issued on May 14 by the special executive magistrate and the Superintendent of Police, Udupi District Police, against Bharat Jayaram Dasa, a resident of Moodubirti in Waramballi village of Brahmavar taluk.
Udupi: The Udupi district police have issued an externment order against a 34-year-old man allegedly involved in cricket betting cases. He has been directed to stay outside the district limits.
The externment order was issued on May 14 by the special executive magistrate and the Superintendent of Police, Udupi District Police, against Bharat Jayaram Dasa, a resident of Moodubirti in Waramballi village of Brahmavar taluk.
Police said three cases related to cricket betting activities have been registered against him at Kota Police Station and Kundapur Police Station. He has already been convicted in one of the cases, while investigation is continuing in the remaining two cases.
As part of the externment order, Bharat Jayaram Das has been directed to remain within the jurisdiction of Kengeri Police Station limits under the Bengaluru Commissionerate.
