CM Designate For Low Key Swearing In Ceremony On Wednesday

Chief Minister designate D.K. Shivakumar on Sunday made it clear that his oath taking ceremony will be a low-key affair at Lok Bhavan

BENGALURU: Taking note of the huge followers making it to Bengaluru on Wednesday to his oath taking ceremony live, Chief Minister designate D.K. Shivakumar on Sunday made it clear that his oath taking ceremony will be a low-key affair at Lok Bhavan and explained the low-key affair is not to cause traffic disruption on the day owing to thousands of vehicles arriving to Bengaluru city which could hinder smooth vehicular movement,

“Already my working president of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee had communicated to the leaders concerned over the swearing-in ceremony which will be a low-key affair. In advance thousands of vehicles were booked to ferry party men and supporters to Bengaluru city on Wednesday and we do wish to cause chaos on roads. Police officers were also worried over traffic disruption over the large influx of vehicles to Bengaluru city,” he said.
