BJP Complains To Police Commissioner Over Alleged Threat To Narayanaswamy
The delegation was led by state president BY Vijayendra and comprised leaders including Chalavadi Narayanaswamy, leader of opposition in assembly R Ashoka and others.

Bengaluru:The BJP delegation has complained to the City Police Commissioner alleging that a group of 8 to 10 NSUI workers brought parcels containing knives and other sharp weapons, ordered through an online delivery platform using multiple mobile numbers, to the residence of MLC and Legislative Council Opposition Leader Chalavadi Narayanaswamy in Bengaluru.
The delegation was led by state president BY Vijayendra and comprised leaders including Chalavadi Narayanaswamy, leader of opposition in assembly R Ashoka and others.
The complaint raised questions about how an online delivery platform allowed the alleged orders to be placed and delivered without proper verification. The letter mentions the mobile numbers through which the parcels were ordered and sought action against those involved. It also urged the authorities to examine the online delivery platform and consider cancellation of its license.
“In view of the above incidents, the persons involved in repeatedly organising protests and creating an atmosphere of fear should be identified, and cases registered against them. They should be externed under the Goonda Act, and appropriate legal action should be initiated against all those involved,” the letter added.
It stated that the Congress party president, the Chief Minister and the Home Minister are directly responsible for encouraging such NSUI workers, who follow a hooliganistic culture, to engage in these activities.
