Family Outing Turns Tragic: Four Drown in Nallamada Rivulet in Bapatla

According to the police, a family from Hyderabad had visited Suryalanka beach in Bapatla and stopped at the Nallamada rivulet for a bathing break on their return journey.

Initially, one person was swept away by the strong current, prompting three others from the same family. All three rescuers also drowned in the attempt.

As of now, two bodies have been recovered, while rescue operations continue for the remaining two persons.
