Srikakulam: YSRCP leaders allegedly threatened a woman police officer on Thursday during former CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's visit to Srikakulam, a police official said on Friday.
Srikakulam Superintendent of Police KV Maheshwar Reddy said that when Jagan was on his way to call on former minister Seediri Appalaraju's family, the opposition leaders threatened sub-inspector M Pravallika. "In fact, they (Police) were threatened. We are registering a case today," Maheswar Reddy told PTI.
He said the police are checking footage to identify the troublemakers and YSRCP leaders who threatened the Police, confirming that they will be booked. Large crowds turned out to greet Jagan, who went in a convoy on Thursday.
