"False case filed by the government" against Kakani would not stand legal scrutiny and urged the family to stay strong - YSRC MLC Parvathareddy Chandrasekhar Reddy
NELLORE: In a show of solidarity, YSRC MLC Parvathareddy Chandrasekhar Reddy met the family members of former state minister Kakani Govardhan Reddy, at their residence on Dargamitta Road in Nellore.
Kakani has been remanded to 14 days’ judicial custody in relation to an illegal mining case.
Chandrasekhar Reddy expressed confidence that the "false case filed by the government" against Kakani would not stand legal scrutiny and urged the family to stay strong. “Kakani will emerge unblemished, like a pearl washed clean,” Chandrasekhar Reddy said.
He emphasised that the YSRC is firmly behind Kakani both morally and politically. The visit was attended by several party leaders including district student wing president Ashrith Reddy and eight division in-charge Narayana Reddy among others.
