YSRC Staging ‘Drama’ to Disrupt State’s Development: Kesineni

Sivanath said approximately 734 industries were coming to Andhra Pradesh, providing extensive employment opportunities. He said attempts were being made to create political unrest to hinder development.

Vijayawada: Vijayawada MP Kesineni Sivanath has alleged that YSRC leaders are staging dramas by setting their own houses on fire, as part of attempts to create disturbance in the state.

This, he said, is done under the direction of the party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Speaking to the media in Delhi, the MP rejected claims that Sunday's incident in Vijayawada occurred under the supervision of minister Nara Lokesh. He alleged that YSRC leaders provoked TD workers during a peaceful protest and they threw stones that injured female Telugu Desam workers. After this, “they set fire to their own houses to blame others.”

The MP condemned former ministers Ambati Rambabu and Jogi Ramesh for making inappropriate remarks against chief minister Chandrababu Naidu and Lokesh.

Sivanath said approximately 734 industries were coming to Andhra Pradesh, providing extensive employment opportunities. He said attempts were being made to create political unrest to hinder development. "Jagan Reddy is encouraging violent politics, while Chandrababu Naidu desires a peaceful environment," he stated.

The MP claimed that the CM has directed the party to avoid revenge politics and maintain restraint.
