YSRC Names Bandi Deepti As Kadapa Mayor Candidate

KADAPA: The YSRC has announced four candidates for the upcoming municipal elections in Kadapa district, naming Bandi Deepti for the post of Kadapa mayor.
YSRC district president P. Ravindranath Reddy announced Y.S. Pramilamma as the party’s candidate for the Pulivendula municipal chairperson post and Marujolla Kavitha for the Kamalapuram municipal chairperson post.
The party has also almost finalised Poreddy Narasimha Reddy’s candidature for the Proddatur municipal chairperson post, though an official announcement is awaited.
The YSRC has not announced any candidates so far in Kurnool and Nandyal districts.
The nomination process is scheduled to begin on October 16, with October 18 as the last date for filing nominations.
Political parties are expected to finalise and announce their candidates by Thursday evening.
