YSRC MLC Demands CBI Probe into DSC Recruitment
He accused the government of deliberately manipulating the process to favour selected candidates
Nellore: YSRC MLC Parvathareddy Chandrasekhar Reddy on Sunday demanded the immediate resignation of education minister Nara Lokesh, alleging large-scale irregularities in the DSC-2025 teacher recruitment process. Addressing a press conference at the YSRC district office in Nellore, he sought a CBI inquiry into the entire recruitment process, from question paper preparation to appointments.
He alleged that the government had "played with the futures" of nearly four lakh job aspirants by violating recruitment norms at every stage. Claiming there were irregularities in question paper preparation, evaluation, normalisation and selection, he accused the government of deliberately manipulating the process to favour selected candidates.
The MLC alleged that 17 incorrect questions were included in the examination and questioned the transparency of the normalisation process, claiming deserving candidates lost jobs by narrow margins. He also accused the government of violating horizontal reservation norms and manipulating the Sports DSC by accepting invalid sports certificates and appointing ineligible candidates.
Further, he alleged that some candidates who had not qualified for the teacher eligibility test (TET) were appointed in violation of Supreme Court guidelines and the Right to Education Act.
Parvathareddy said the YSRC would soon file a fresh petition in the High Court seeking a CBI probe and announced statewide protests from Sunday until an inquiry is ordered and the minister resigns.
