YSRC Leader Peddireddy Rented A Villa in Rajahmundry

Following the arrest of his son and YSRC MP Mithun Reddy in the liquor scam case, former minister and YSRC senior leader Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy is learnt to have taken a villa for rent at AV Appa Rao Road in Rajahmundry. Mithun Reddy has been lodged in Rajahmundry Central Jail after being remanded to police custody.

Reportedly, Mithun Reddy has asked for home meals three times a day, clean water, a special room with western commode, TV, newspapers, one assistant. Mithun reddy has been named A4 in the AP Liquor scam. He filed a petition in the ACB court seeking all these facilities and the court asked the jail superintendent to raise objections, if he had, to any of the requests. The jail superintendent told the court that they would provide all the facilities asked by the MP. He also said that an undertaking letter should be submitted to provide meals from home.

Last Saturday, he was interrogated by the SIT officials for more than 7 hours. Then he was shifted to the ACB court and then moved to the Rajahmundry Central jail on remand.

Following the arrest, Peddireddy alleged that the arrest of his son was a vindictive act. In the past too, several such cases were framed against Mithun Reddy but nothing has been proved so far, Peddireddy said and expressed confidence that his son would come out clean.
