YSRC Leader Chintada, 20 Others Move HC for Interim Anticipatory Bail

In the petition, Chintada Ravi Kumar contended that the case was politically motivated and had been registered to target leaders and supporters of the opposition YSRC.

Vijayawada: YSRC leader Chintada Ravi Kumar and 20 party activists have approached the Andhra Pradesh High Court seeking interim anticipatory bail in a case registered against them on the basis of a complaint lodged by Burja sub-inspector M. Pravallika at Amadalavalasa in Srikakulam district.

In the petition, Chintada Ravi Kumar contended that the case was politically motivated and had been registered to target leaders and supporters of the opposition YSRC.

The petition further alleged that the case was false and stated that Dane Ramohan Rao and document writer N. Suresh had also been wrongly implicated.
