YSRC Alleges Conspiracy Over Siddique’s Nomination in Nellore
YSRC MLC P. Chandrasekhar Reddy accuses the TDP of conspiring to prevent minority leader Sheikh Siddique from contesting the Nellore civic polls.

YSR Congress MLC P. Chandrasekhar Reddy accused the TDP of conspiring to prevent minority leader Sheikh Siddique from contesting the Nellore Municipal Corporation elections, alleging that the move has been aiming to suppress his work for the community.
During a campaign in Kotamitta on Sunday, alongside party Mayor nominee Anam Vijayakumar Reddy and 63rd Division corporator candidate Sheikh Tahseen, Siddique’s wife, Chandrasekhar Reddy alleged that the ruling coalition had resorted to political tactics over Siddique’s nomination.
The MLC said the YSRC had fielded Tahseen from the 63rd Division and appealed to voters to elect her and Mayor nominee Anam Vijayakumar Reddy. He claimed that YSRC victory would help accelerate Nellore’s development and resolve local civic issues. The roadshow along Citizen School Road and Hazeera Hospital Street witnessed a warm reception from sections of the minority community, with supporters showering flowers on the candidates, according to the party.
Chandrasekhar Reddy said the YSRC had worked for the welfare of minorities and would ensure them due respect and representation. Minority wing leaders and party workers participated in the campaign.
