Yogi Adityanath Offers Prayers at Tirumala
UP CM seeks Lord Venkateswara’s blessings for Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and the nation.
Tirupati: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara at the Tirumala temple on Monday evening.
On his arrival, the TTD officials and priests accorded him a traditional welcome with temple honours. He later had darshan of Lord Venkateswara and performed special prayers. The priests presented him with theertha prasadam and sesha vastram.
Speaking inside the temple, Adityanath said he was blessed to have darshan at Tirumala, describing it as a sacred place of Lord Vishnu. He appreciated the temple’s arrangements, cleanliness and spiritual atmosphere and prayed for Lord Venkateswara’s blessings on Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and the entire country.
He said Jagadguru Ramanujacharya had worked to connect North and South India hundreds of years ago. He said a procession of Lord Rama was being held at the Tirumala temple on the occasion of Punarvasu Nakshatra, which was also associated with Ramanujacharya’s tradition.
Adityanath said he was fortunate to have darshan of Sri Rama, Ram Darbar and Lord Hanuman. He thanked the TTD for facilitating the darshan.
