Women Dance In Joy As CM, Pawan Visit Udayagiri Village
Women welcomed CM Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan during their visit to Kakolluvaripalem as part of Palle Panduga 3.0.
Village women danced in excitement as chief minister Chandrababu Naidu and deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan visited Kakolluvaripalem on Tuesday as part of Palle Panduga 3.0.
The two leaders, along with BJP state president PVN Madhav, received a warm welcome from villagers. Women showered flowers on the leaders as they walked through the village greeting people and inspecting the development works taken up under the programme.
At the well-attended public meeting venue, several villagers stood up from their seats to capture on their phones the leaders’ ramp walk while women danced enthusiastically to express their joy.
Addressing the gathering, Naidu said the vote cast by the people in 2024 had not gone waste and claimed that his government had fulfilled their trust by focusing on welfare, development and good governance.
The CM said the government was moving ahead with the Centre’s support and asserted that its agenda was development. He highlighted plans to transform Nellore and Prakasam districts into a logistics hub, with Dagadarthi airport between Krishnapatnam and Ramayapatnam playing a key role.
Naidu said a BPCL plant for the region was expected to attract investments of around `1 lakh crore, while defence industries were also coming in. He appealed to the people from Nellore and Udayagiri who had settled elsewhere to return and participate in the region’s development.
A video presentation at the programme highlighted the condition of rural roads and villages under the previous government and the development works undertaken after the Naidu-led government came to power.
Ministers P Narayana, BC Janardhan Reddy, Ramanaidu, Anam Ramanarayana Reddy and Farooq, Nellore MP Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy, MLAs and other alliance leaders attended the programme.
