Wild Elephant Herd Enters Vizianagaram from Manyam

Visakhapatnam: A herd of wild elephants has entered Vizianagaram district from the neighbouring Manyam district, raising concern among farmers and residents.
The elephants have been moving through agricultural fields, sparking fear in several villages. According to officials, the herd is currently roaming in Terlam and Badangi mandals.
The elephants were last spotted moving from the Nallodu Cheruvu area in Badangi mandal towards Pinapenki village.
As the herd continues to pass through maize and paddy fields, farmers fear crop damage and are worried about the safety of people living in the nearby areas. Forest officials are monitoring the elephants' movement and advising residents to remain alert.
