Went to See My Ailing Grandmother, Didn't Abscond: Trainee IPS Uday Krishna
Uday Krishna Reddy clarified that no notices had been served at his permanent address in Ullapalem village.

Hyderabad: Trainee IPS officer Uday Krishna Reddy said he had not absconded but had gone to his native village, Ullapalem, to visit his grandmother after she fell ill following the allegations levelled against him.
Speaking to a media channel, he said he is going to Hyderabad and will cooperate with the investigating officers. He added that he could not comment on the case in detail as the matter was currently before the court. Maintaining that the allegations against him were false, he expressed confidence that he would prove his innocence.
Uday Krishna Reddy also said he came from a completely rural and humble background and clarified that no notices had been served at his permanent address in Ullapalem village, Prakasam district.
He further stated that the police might have visited the temporary residences in Hyderabad where he had been staying for some time.
