VPR Amrutha Dhara Water Plant Inaugurated at Mannetikota

Nellore: The VPR Amrutha Dhara drinking water plant was inaugurated with much fanfare at Mannetikota village in Ulavapadu mandal on Monday. Nellore MP Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy and Kandukur MLA Inturi Nageswara Rao attended the programme as chief guests.
The MP and MLA received a warm welcome from local leaders and party workers on their arrival. Speaking on the occasion, MP Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy said the primary objective of the VPR Foundation is public service, especially to quench the thirst of the poor in rural areas.
He noted that water plants established by the foundation since 2017 are still functioning efficiently. He added that free eye check-ups and spectacles are being provided through the VPR Netra initiative and assured that similar services would be extended to all villages in the Kandukur constituency.
This is the second water plant launched in Ulavapadu mandal. The MP also highlights boosting their confidence.
He interacted with senior citizens, enquired about welfare benefits, and stated that pensions are being delivered on the first of every month. Cement roads laid in the village were also inaugurated.
Villagers expressed gratitude, stating that the new plant has addressed long-standing drinking water issues. TDP leaders, local representatives, and party workers were present.
