VPA Wins Dual Gold at Greentech CSR Awards 2026

Visakhapatnam: Visakhapatnam Port Authority (VPA) has won the Greentech CSR Awards 2026 in two categories — Healthcare Promotion and Skill Development — for the second consecutive year.
The recognition followed a virtual presentation and interaction with the jury. The awards honour organisations for performance in corporate social responsibility initiatives.
In the healthcare category, VPA undertook initiatives including mid-day meal support for students, installation of water filtration units, preventive health measures, vaccination drives and assistance to the physically challenged.
Under skill development, VPA implemented training programmes for unemployed youth and marginalised communities, including support for women’s livelihoods, training for tribal youth and financial assistance for vocational education.
VPA chairperson Dr M. Angamuthu and officials acknowledged the achievement. The awards will be presented at the Greentech CSR Summit in New Delhi on May 12.
