Vijayawada: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu emphasised that voting is the most powerful weapon in a democracy. He stated that it provides an opportunity to express one’s opinion and uphold the democratic spirit.
The Chief Minister cast his vote at the Gade Ramayya-Seetarammma MP UP School booth in Undavalli, participating in the Krishna-Guntur Graduate MLC elections alongside minister for IT Nara Lokesh.
Speaking after casting his vote, Naidu remarked that voting is a responsibility everyone should fulfil and urged citizens to exercise their right to vote. He highlighted its crucial role in the country’s development, welfare, and prestige.
Locals were keen to interact with Naidu after he exited the polling booth. He spoke to them in a cheerful and affectionate manner, inquiring about their concerns. Women and children requested photographs with him, and the Chief Minister gladly obliged. On the occasion, a child greeted Naidu, and he responded warmly.
