Vizag College Issues Fake Eamcet Hall Tickets
“We could not register an FIR because the parents refused to give a written complaint. The parents said they would have a discussion with the college management and return to the police station on Wednesday,” the inspector told this correspondent.

Visakhapatnam: The management of a private college for girls in PM Palem of Visakhapatnam allegedly issued fake hall tickets to five of its students, making them ineligible to appear for the Eamcet test held on Monday.
Parents and two girl students approached PM Police and lodged an oral complaint. Inspector of PM Police Balakrishna said the management blamed their clerk, identified as Venu, for the issue of hall tickets. The principal told the inspector that Venu collected an amount of `650 from each of the students but failed to register their names for the Eamcet test. When the students could not download the hall tickets, they contacted Venu who manipulated the hall tickets on his computer and gave them physically. The officials at the examination centre did not allow the students to enter the examination hall. When they called up Venu, he admitted that he gave them fake hall tickets.

But information was passed on to the regional inspection officer of the Board of Intermediate, who said he would initiate action after receiving the FIR copy, the inspector said.
